Kassel. On Saturday, 09.10.2010, at about 10:30 a.m. a fatal accident occurred as construction work was taking place on the OPAL (Ostsee-Pipeline-Anbindungsleitung – Baltic Sea Pipeline Link) in the Müggenburg district, municipality of Heinrichsruh (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania).
At the time of the accident employees were dismantling a cable excavator bracket arm.
The precise circumstances of the accident are currently being investigated. The relevant authorities were informed immediately.
